Low Wray National Trust Camp Site is nestled on the western shoreline of Lake Windermere in Ambleside.
This stunning site offers a wide-range of camping options including traditional pitches with waterfront, lake, meadow or woodland views, or camping pods, safari tents, space for campervans and even two suspended tree tents.
Facilities at the site include a shop, three toilet and shower blocks, laundry facilities, washing-up areas and bring your own canoes for pottering about on England’s largest lake.
Leave the car behind for a few days and head out on your bikes or on foot along the lakeshore to Claife Viewing Station, or through scenic views to Beatrix Potter’s garden at Hill Top, or Allan Bank at Grasmere.
