The Old School House is a dog-friendly B&B in Hawkshead, a 5 minute drive from the village of Ambleside.

A Grade 2 listed building set within the village. Formerly the home of the headmaster of the Old Grammar School next door, which is now open to the public as a museum. Famous pupils include William Wordsworth & Fletcher Christian to name but a few.

They have 5 beautifully presented bedrooms with all the luxuries you would expect to find in an award winning Bed & Breakfast. They aim to ensure you have a relaxing break whether you are walkers, cyclists or simply happy to enjoy this wonderful landscape.

Their guests love wandering around the beautiful honeypot village of Hawkshead with its cobbled streets, coffee shops, pubs and specialist shops.
