The Hideaway is the most peaceful of all the luxury Windermere hotels. Relaxed and welcoming, with a true passion to spoil and indulge.

Set in a restored 1890s home off the A590 in Windermere, this chic hotel retains original Victorian features. It’s within 10 minutes’ walk of National Rail trains and Lake Windermere.

The 9 individually decorated rooms feature en suite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and complimentary tea and homemade cakes daily. Upgraded rooms have high-end linens and oversized beds, while some add free-standing baths. A premium split-level room has a spiral staircase, heated slate bathroom floor and leather sleigh bed.

Full cooked breakfast is included, and wines are available for purchase. Guests have access to local spa and leisure facilities.
