The Kirkstone Pass Inn is nestled among the high lake fells atop the 1500ft high Kirkstone pass on the outskirts of Ambleside.
If you want a nice traditional Lakes inn to have a drink or meal then there is none better. The staff are friendly and welcoming, there is always a roaring fire (in the winter) and the food is fantastic. It is many peoples first choice when they stay over in the Lakes for a bite to eat after a long walk.
Enjoy ‘mumsy ‘homemade local dishes, with a varied selection of Veggie meals. Locally sourced produce is used wherever possible. Not only does this keep the food miles down, but it also brings you the best that Cumbria has to offer, be it their home-made Steak and Ale Pie or one of their award-winning local ales.
All meals are cooked to order and this takes time, they cook for the hungry not those in a rush!
