This charming, traditionally built Victorian Lakeland stone guest house was built in 1888 and is a former Gentleman’s Residence, retaining a lot of its original character. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil.

Glenville House sits in its own grounds backed by Mill Beck and Sheriffs Wood where, if you are lucky, you will see deer, squirrels and a wide range of birds…you may even spot a Buzzard!

Situated on the main road, midway between Bowness and Windermere, Glenville House is perfectly positioned for access to all amenities… the lake is an easy ten minutes walk away.

The guest house offers seven luxurious en-suite rooms with colour flat screen TV’s, i-pod docking stations and free WIFI.
