The Ambleside Tourist Information Centre sits within “The Crux of Ambleside” premises.  Situated literally right in the centre of the town adjacent to the roman cross (or Crux).

The business represents the community hub of the town and also contains a Post Office & gift shop.

They are staffed by a number of experienced and friendly local residents. All of whom pride themselves on really knowing the area well.

They are very happy to offer suggestions for what to do and share their experience of the area. whether its sight seeing, activities, events or attractions.

The team can also suggest where to eat, drink and stay based on any visitors preferences.
